Please guide me
Shreeram chits P Ltd, Shreeram transport finance company limited, shreeram life Insurance company etc are the companies, the part of the Shreeram group of companies. I and my family members are the customers of the above companies. I am facing lot of hardship with these companies for the last three months and I narrate….
I have insured with the Sreeram life Insurance company and the policy matured in may 2015. I have submitted the concerned papers along with the policy document to the local office at Mandapaeta in june 2015. After some time I enquired and was told that one paper submitted by me was missing and I have submitted the paper. After some time I have enquired and was told some other paper was missing. I have submitted again. After one month or so I tried to contact the local office in-charge, she was not available and no other man is ready to part with any information. I have contacted the Head office at phone number 040-23434466 Hyderabad, enquired and was informed a cheque was dispatched. I asked to whom the cheque was dispatched and there is no reply. I have asked the operator to connect me to the vice-president, so that I can speak to him, she left without any information and never returned to answer me or give his phone number. I have given a mail to the mail address given in the website ”email@example.com”. And there is no acknowledgement or reply even to date.
On the same day I have given a mail to the customer care and they replied that the papers are not received in divisional office, and the local office at Mandapaeta had sent a messenger stating that some other paper is lost. Again I have submitted it. After 15 days, I have again tried to contact the customer care to get no reply by mail. Again I have tried on 19th and was given the stereo typed reply. I do not know what is in store for me to hear next. So far the the maturity amount is not paid.
Even after submitting all papers I unable to understand how the office had lost some papers?,so many times. Further the company maintaining silence and failing to give a reply to the customer, what is the fun of giving a email address? Is it a crime and the customer should not complain about the service? Why the operators fail to connect the superior or give phone numbers to the customer?
I have complained to the ombudsman Hyderabad by mail for redressal of my grievance and waiting for a reply.
In an another case my wife invested in the Shreeram transport finance company, in debentures. The bond was given a security for the chit auctioned. The chit retired and the Manager of the local branch Mandapeta failed to return the bond. The manager never cared to reply, and the complaint to the higher authority, fell on deaf ear. The debenture bond matured in june2015. She submitted an indemnity bond and other related papers and after one month enquired to find that the papers were not sent to the concerned office by the Divisional office. After one month the papers were dispatched to the concerned office and after 15 days when We contacted, we were given to understand that the signature not tallying. The papers were returned after one week and we have again submitted the papers after the signatures and waiting.
These are the clear cases of harassment. The stone silence of the head office of the companies at the given mail address is much annoying, the inability of the customer care is further annoying and causing agony.. Totally these episodes are the cause of mental agony and and annoyance. This is also the disservice of the group of companies. The companies are harassing us, by all means and telling something, only when we are contacting or complaining. Really this is the cause and a case of annoyance to me and to my wife at this old age of 75,70. This is the style of working of the group of companies.
Kindly guide me in the matter.
